Body hair removal has become a million dollar business with people, products and places dedicated to this pursuit.  Body hair removal was once just for women but this business has expanded to service men who want a clean look as well.  The people devoted to body hair removal work in salons and spas around the world, and these people stay busy.  The products are available at the salons and spas as well as the supermarkets and drugstores.  The places devoted to body hair removal are the spas and salons as well as the showers and bathtubs in many homes. 

Body hair removal for men has been the subject of some popular movies and photographs in successful magazines.  Men used to be content with the hair that they had on their heads, chests and legs.  They might have been disappointed if the hair on their head disappeared at some stage in their lives, but most men lived with the course of nature.  Many men might have desired a smoother chest or less hair on their backs, but again they lived with the course of nature.  There are now some men who work to remove the hair from their back and chest.  The latest trend has expanded the services and products devoted to body hair removal.

Many women spend millions of dollars on products for body hair removal.  Some of the women go to exclusive salons and spas where beauticians remove body hair with different products and processes.  There are creams, razors and waxes that can be used to rid the body of hair.  The beauticians are often highly trained in many techniques to cater to the whims of their clients.  Some of these beauticians charge exorbitant prices for body hair removal while others charge more reasonable prices.   

Some of these processes are temporary and require follow up treatments to maintain the effects of the initial treatments.  Other processes are permanent so the women will not have to constantly return for further treatment.  Hair can be removed from the face, bikini line, legs and underarms.  There are now machines powered with lasers that will remove hair permanently, but these treatments often take multiple visits to the technicians who are trained to use them.  These permanent methods are often very expensive in the short term, although in the long term, these treatments are probably economical.
